![]() The frequency resolution Δ w of a signal has relations to the sampling number N and the sampling frequency F s, based on the formula Δ w = F s / N. This will lead to errors in frequency, amplitude, and phase, and eventually, affect the extraction accuracy. However, when performing Fourier transform of signals on computers, which can only process discrete data, it is unavoidable to suffer spectrum leakage and barrier effect because of time domain truncation and limited samples. ![]() Through spectrum analysis, various frequency components contained in the vibration signal can be clearly viewed. In order to ensure the real-time performance, the deep learning models require more optimized algorithms, better hardware and enough data. A large amount of data will lead to a long running time of algorithms. However, in the case of a limited amount of data, the deep learning algorithms cannot make unbiased estimates of the laws of the data. The deep learning models reduce the incompleteness caused by artificial design through self-learning and building feature models. A hybrid unsupervised feature selection (HFS) approach demonstrated its effectiveness in the fault diagnosis of rolling bearing. This method may be applied to the fault diagnosis of rolling bearing. The results indicate that this method is able to learn features adaptive from frequency data and achieve higher diagnosis accuracy. A CNN model can learn features from frequency data directly and detect faults of gearboxes. However, one of its obvious shortcomings is that it requires large amount of computation. The results showed that the average accuracy rate in the testing dataset reached more than 99%. Besides, the input of this method is the raw sampling signal without any pre-processing or traditional feature extraction. This method has the advantages of much higher prediction accuracy, faster iteration and more efficient to prevent over-fitting. For instance, based on a convolutional neural network (CNN, Address) and a long-short-term memory (LSTM) recurrent neural network, an improved bearing fault diagnosis method is proposed. With the rapid development of computer technology and machine learning, deep learning algorithms are increasingly applied to the fault diagnosis of rolling bearing. In addition to the traditional methods, new techniques and methods are also applied to the fault diagnosis of rolling bearing. The application of these methods in the fault diagnosis of rolling bearing suffers from their defects and requirements for data. However, there are some defects in EMD, such as over-envelope, under-envelope, mode mixing, end effect, IMF criterion, and may produce unexplained negative frequencies after calculating the instantaneous frequency. HHT includes empirical mode decomposition (EMD) and HT, and it is a self-adaptive time-frequency analysis method. While WT has a variable time-frequency window, the results are fixed-band signals when the wavelet basis and decomposition scale are selected. For example, the DRT is difficult to find out the best main resonance frequency band accurately, and the time-frequency window size of STFT is fixed. While these methods are effective and useful in the fault diagnosis of rolling bearing, there are still some limits. Many signal processing methods are used to process the vibration signal, such as demodulated resonance technique (DRT), short time Fourier transform (STFT), wavelet transform (WT), and Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT). The third part is the noise and interference. The second part is the vibration information of the rotating machines except the faulty rolling bearing. The first part is the fault information of rolling bearing with the characteristics of non-stationary, nonlinear, and modulation. The vibration signal of rolling bearing in the fault state usually consists of three parts. Among the three steps, feature extraction is the most critical one. The process of fault diagnosis can be divided into three steps, which are signal acquisition, feature extraction, and diagnosis decision. When a fault occurs, rotating machines should stop to repair or replace the faulty rolling bearing in time to avoid serious results. The purpose of fault diagnosis for rolling bearing is to determine the type of faults, the degree of damage, and the cause of faults. Condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of rolling bearing has become an attractive research topic. Rolling bearing is one kind of core parts in rotating machines, which plays an important role in industrial production. ![]() I'm currently the Senior Manager of Illustrations for iStock and Getty Images. I first fell in love with vectors during a digital illustration course while completing my Graphic Design degree at Red River College, Winnipeg, MB, Canada. I have not tried to transfer files back and forth between workstations using Affinity and Adobe. My name is Jennifer Borton, and I'm a vectorholic. I also do my own product photos and print materials so this suite is just what I needed. Because my workflow includes tracing over photos, I appreciate having a suite (Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher) where it's easy to go back and forth with photo editing. I'm happy that I can use it on multiple computers for my own use, as I have both a home and a studio workstation. The vector editing features are very similar to Adobe Illustrator, but it's a one-time-purchase for this version and updates rather than a subscription model. I have worked on one project to test it during the trial period before purchasing. I tested Affinity Designer on a project that I started in Adobe CS4, continued in Adobe CC working on it in Affinity Designer was seamless. I am not a "power user" of Adobe CC or CS but I'm looking for something good at doing detailed vector artwork that doesn't feel like I'm back in the 1990s or something. I have a one-person business where I design 2D files for laser cutting, as well as doing my own graphic design for packaging and promotional materials, photography, post-processing, etc. Then I realized how important image tracing actually is. When I tried the Illustrator version of the same brushes in Illustrator, I could get true vector drawings. For example, I bought some lovely watercolor vector brushes for Affinity Designer from a website just to realize that what I draw with them in Affinity Designer doesn't become a real vector image. This feature is not only important for tracing images (which I don't really do) but also for using some custom vector brushes. I'm hoping that Affinity will introduce an image trace feature soon. Even though Affinity Designer lacked some features that Illustrator has, it became my favorite drawing app very quickly and is still after using it for more than a year daily. The interface felt so easy to handle, uncluttered, and user-friendly after Illustrator. But the app gets updates pretty regularly so I'm hoping that it will only get better and better with each update. I switch back to Illustrator only when I have something I can't achieve with Affinity Designer. You can still open them but all the layers groups will be merged into a single giant group making you spend some time rearranging things.Įven though it has some restrictions, I love using Affinity Designer and use it instead of Illustrator about 90% of the time. Another thing that you may feel limited is that you see templates for Illustrator everywhere but not for Designer. For that, I have to use Inkspace but everything else: Affnity Designer. The only thing I cannot do in Affinity Designer so far is to get a PNG and trace it into a vector. You have it ready to use and installed properly. The controls are very intuitive and easy to use, the results are way too good and so far, after all these years there's nothing I regret from using Affinity Designer If you buy a set of tools on the Serif store, you do not have to download them and install them on a certain folder, you just go into the panel, click, that's it. PROSĪffinity Designer is the best Adobe Illustrator alternative that will let you edit SVG, AI, EPS, PDF files with ease. ![]() I have the whole suite working together: Designer, Photo, Publisher and it helps me stay on a competitive level against other businesses offering the same services. ![]() You can then head to the club across the road and dance your legs away till late into the night. The cans then have the tinplate bottoms affixed by a roll seam and the paper label is applied to complete the product. The rather hydroscopic granular powder is promptly packaged into cans by filling them from the "bottom", because the "top" end has been previously fabricated with an aluminium foil seal beneath the lid. The solid is introduced into a hammer mill where it is broken up into the final granular form. At the bottom of the box the varying sized chunks of soft solid, from fist size to fine powder, fall from the last conveyor into an airlock where they are brought back to atmospheric pressure. The whole process takes around an hour but operates in a continuous mode. The evaporation at reduced pressure allows the water content to be removed at lower temperature according to the Clausius–Clapeyron relation and prevents the malt sugars and milk proteins from being changed by the heat, effectively cooking them and changing the taste and texture of the product. By the time it reaches the lower most conveyors it has become a soft vesicular solid somewhat like pumice stone or violet crumble. Eventually it reaches the end of the first conveyor whereupon it drizzles down to another, lower in the box. Under these conditions of reduced pressure and slightly elevated temperature the syrup starts to boil. The pressure inside the box is maintained just below the vapor pressure of water at a temperature of about 30 degrees celsius. ![]() A number of conveyor belts are arranged inside the box and the syrup is drizzled onto the uppermost. ![]() This syrup is admitted to a large box constructed from thick steel plates and about 10 cubic meteres in volume. The thick opaque syrup is obtained from malted wheat or barley and contains many mono-, di- and polysaccharides.
